In an effort to encourage interoperability throughout its seven Chicago locations, Fox Valley Orthopedic has announced the deployment of the athenahealth EHR. 35 doctors and surgeons make up the Illinois orthopedic group, which offers musculoskeletal care as part of complete diagnostic and treatment for patients with orthopedic diseases or accidents. The athenaOne EHR will replace three different EHR systems and bring all professions, including doctors, surgeons, and physical/occupational therapists, together on one platform. The Fox Valley Orthopedic will join the more than 150,000 healthcare organizations that make up the athenahealth network and gain access to the physical therapy and orthopedic processes that are already in place. This is discussed in the following press release “athenahealth has worked with orthopedic practices for many years, bolstering these customers with comparative benchmarking information so they can see how their practice is performing compared to others, locally and across the country,” said Bret Connor, chief operating officer of athenahealth. “By turning network data into insights and offering modern, dynamic technology, we can help forward-looking organizations like Fox Valley improve the physician experience while reducing patient friction historically associated with navigating through the healthcare system.”

You can use the athenahealth patient site to request medicines, schedule appointments, pay bills, view health information, and carry out other necessary tasks. In order to enable a multichannel patient experience and effective clinical workflows, The Good Clinic also adopted the integrated cloud-based system athenahealth. The cloud-based healthcare technology promises to lighten the load on clinicians so that doctors can concentrate on improving clinical results. EHR, healthcare billing, patient engagement, and telehealth capabilities are also included in the system.
